What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural mental state in which a person becomes highly responsive to suggestions. During hypnosis, the hypnotist helps a client enter a deep physical relaxation in which his or her mind remains clear, alert and focused. While this state resembles sleep, the person can still hear and respond to questions and suggestions.

In this altered state of awareness, the conscious mind is bypassed and the subconscious mind is open to desired suggestions that can have a positive effect on everyday beliefs, habits, perceptions and behaviors.  Specific suggestions provided during the hypnotic state work because they extend post-hypnotically long after the session, allowing clients to achieve the changes they desire.
